Hugh Jackman has been named as the best celebrity dad in an online poll conducted by Hello! Magazine.
The Aussie actor beat off competition from a number of Hollywood heartthrobs, pulling in just under a third of the votes. Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp came in close behind in second, followed by actor and singer Will Smith.
Jackman, a 37-year-old father of two adopted kids, Oscar and Ava, has described parenthood as a "privilege".
Although fans of the star are used to seeing him as tough-guy Wolverine in the X-Men films, he has admitted that his daughter is his biggest weakness with her ability to turn him to "mush".
Second place Depp, proud father of Jack and Lily-Rose, is equally keen to admit his love of his family role, saying that nothing makes him happier than spending time with his wife and kids.
Rock star and global campaigner Bob Geldof came in at fifth in the poll for his efforts in bringing up children Pixie, Peaches, Tiger-Lily and Fifi.
Other Hollywood stars gracing the top ten include new dad Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas and Jamie Foxx.
