Being a world-famous star may seem like a sure fire way to attract male attention, but it does not seem to be working for Harry Potter actress Emma Watson.
Watson, who plays gifted pupil Hermione Granger in the hit films, has found that her fame seems to be scaring men off.
Like most 16-year-old girls, she has admitted that she could do with a little magic off screen to attract some male attention.
"It's a minefield, to be honest. It's stressful. I suppose guys are either kind of intimidated by me and have their defences up, or they like to take the p**s out of me," she told World Entertainment News Network.
Unsurprisingly, although Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint (Harry Potter and Ron Weasley respectively) have been ruled out as love interests, Watson added that some of the older men in the films had caught her eye.
"That's my problem. I think, 'Yeah, he's good looking' - but he's like, 25! So that's not happening."
Watson and her fellow co-stars are currently finishing shooting Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which is due on cinema screens next year.
