A survey has revealed that most Americans would like to dress up as Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for Halloween.
The questionnaire for Us magazine reveals that the film stars, jointly known as Brangelina, are this year's top pick for couples looking to make an impression on the holiday.
Pitt and Jolie's humanitarian work and adoption of children from developing countries has regularly hit the headlines. They have four children: six-year-old adopted Cambodian son Maddox, three-year-old Vietnamese son Pax, Ethiopian daughter Zahara, two, and 16-month-old biological daughter Shiloh.
Other choices for the top look-alike outfits were troubled divorced couple Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. According to the poll, dressing up as the stars, who are currently involved in a custody battle for their children, is likely to result in a large trick or treat stash.
Besides celebrities, politicians also featured high in the list for the creepy festival with former head of state Bill Clinton and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton coming in third. Current American leader George Bush and first lady Laura Bush also won approval from the voting public, finishing sixth in the poll for the best Halloween costume.
Scientology followers Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes finished behind the Clintons in the the survey. The pair, whose religious beliefs are regularly reported on in the media, came in fourth while the UK's top couple Posh and Becks finished just behind their pals.
Talk show hosts Jay Leno, Oprah Winfrey and Ellen De Generes were other popular choices for dressing up to give friends the spooks.
The poll, conducted by Captain Morgan/Kelton Research, asked 600 people about which celebrity couple they'd like to dress up as for the forthcoming holiday.
