Anna Nicole Smith's chaotic world has taken a turn for the worse since the former Playmate was admitted to hospital after contracting "a slight case" of pneumonia.
The new mother is currently in Nassau's Doctors Hospital as a precautionary measure as she recently gave birth to her daughter Dannielynn.
Explaining how she contracted the illness, her new attorney Wayne Munroe told the Associated Press news agency: "We've had a sudden change of weather here due to a cold snap. I didn't gather it was anything serious."
The former model is staying in the same hospital where Dannielynn was born and her 20-year-old son died last month.
Smith, who has been staying in the Bahamas with her new baby daughter and partner Howard K Stern, is reported to be avoiding traveling back to the US where she will be made to have the paternity of her daughter tested after claims by her ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead that he is the father.
Rumours that his claim may be true have been circulating after it was reported that Smith had dyed two-month-old Dannielynn's hair to match the colour of Stern's.
Smith insists that her former lawyer is the child's natural father and one of her lawyers, Ron Rule, said that any speculation that Smith had dyed her daughter's hair were ridiculous.
