Press invited to Timberlake/Diaz wedding
Justin Timberlake has vowed that the press will be allowed to attend his wedding with Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz.
Most celebrity A-listers go to unbelievable lengths to ensure that the paparazzi cannot get anywhere near their special day, but Timberlake told Ok! Magazine that he and Cameron can't be bothered with all the secrecy and subterfuge needed to dupe the press.
"It is a full-time job," he said. "To make lists, to choose a secret place and the subterfuge, to forward the guests without the press getting involved, to settle the orders with caterers.
"It is tiring in the end. When we've decided, I will be sure to invite you, all right?"
However, eager photographers may be waiting a while for their invite, as Timberlake and Diaz have yet to set a date for the wedding.
Going to the other end of the scale, Ashley Cole and Cheryl Tweedy did just about all they could to ensure that the paparazzi's lens got nowhere near their festivities last month.
Performing something of a pre-marital miracle, the pair managed to persuade the press that their wedding was taking place at entirely different venue, resulting in hacks and photographers waiting at the gates of Highclere Castle in Berkshire while they were miles away at Wrotham Park stately home in Hertfordshire.
