Geri Halliwell has praised her bandmate Victoria Beckham's son Cruz after he stole the show at the Spice Girls' concert in New York City.
The reunited five-piece played an eagerly-awaited show at the city's legendary Madison Square Garden venue only for Cruz, three today, to make the headlines with an impromptu spot of break-dancing.
As with most concerts on their Return of the Spice Girls world tour, the Girl Power group were joined onstage by their children while singing Mama, at which point Cruz - the youngest of the Beckhams' brood - began his spontaneous performance.
"Victoria's son Cruz was a little star," Halliwell said. "We all had our children up on stage tonight and Cruz started break-dancing!"
"How cool is that? It's clearly in the family," she added.
Writing in her blog on the band's official website, Halliwell explained that she had mixed feelings at the impending end of the Wannabe stars' world tour.
The group cut their series of concerts short, cancelling shows in Sydney, Buenos Aires, Beijing and Cape Town due to "family and personal commitments".
After the popularity of the reformed group led to extra dates at London's O2 Arena, tour arrangements were reshuffled, yet replacement dates in Australia, Argentina, China and South Africa were not announced.
The tour will now end in Toronto, Canada on February 26th, with Halliwell commenting: "I feel a mixture of sadness and joy. I know it's time to come home yet I will miss everyone from the tour."
The group are believed to have earned millions from their tour, the first time all five members have been onstage since Halliwell left the group in 1998.
