Bjork 'attacks photographer'

Bjork attacks photographer at New Zealand airport
Icelandic singer Bjork attacked a photographer upon arrival at a New Zealand airport, reports have claimed.

The New Zealand Herald's Glenn Jeffrey said Bjork ripped the shirt from his back after he snapped her at Auckland international airport.

"I took a couple of pictures and as I turned and walked away, she came up behind me, grabbed the back of my black skivvy [long T-shirt] and tore it down the back," he told the newspaper.

"As she did this she fell to the ground. At no stage did I touch her or speak with her."

Twelve years ago, Bjork was forced to apologise for launching a fierce attack upon a photographer after touching down at Bangkok airport following a long flight.

The incident has become one of the most infamous celebrity mishaps caught on film.

According to Jeffrey, who has worked at the New Zealand Herald for 25 years, a male friend accompanying Bjork had urged her not to attack him.

"B, don't do this, B don't do this," the friend reportedly said.

Bjork is due to play at a music festival in Auckland on Friday.End of story
