The singer has cancelled a number of performances due to problems with her health
Neo-soul star Amy Winehouse has cancelled all her performances in August, including V Festival, as she seeks to recover from health problems.
The Rehab singer's representative Tracey Miller told People magazine: "Amy Winehouse is putting all her touring commitments for this month on hold until further notice in order to address her health issues.
"Amy will now not be performing at this weekend's V Festival in Chelmsford and Staffordshire.
"Her family has requested that the media respect Amy's privacy at this time," she added.
Heavily-tattooed Winehouse recently cancelled her scheduled performance at a Rolling Stones concert in Germany. She previously declined to perform at T in the Park, the Liverpool Summer Pops and the Oya music festival, citing exhaustion as the reason.
However, her spokesperson said that the troubled star would still perform at the MTV video music awards in September.
Winehouse's album Back to Black has achieved great success in the US and the UK and she has been nominated in three categories for the American music channel's award show. The 23-year-old crooner's US tour is also still scheduled to go ahead.
It recently emerged that the star had admitted herself into an expensive rehabilitation centre in Essex to seek treatment for substance abuse problems.
The Rehab singer checked into the centre, which is based on an island, with her husband Blake Fielder.
Last week Winehouse was discharged from a London hospital where she sought treatment for "severe exhaustion".
