A number of extras were injured during the filming of a scene for the Tom Cruise movie Valkyrie, currently being filmed in Berlin.
A total of 11 people were hurt, one of them seriously, when a side panel on a truck came open as it drove around a corner.
The person seriously injured remains in hospital and filming was halted after the incident occurred.
A police spokesman said that there were no reports to suggest "anyone famous was involved".
Cruise is currently filming in the role of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, the German military leader who crafted a plot to kill Adolf Hitler.
He almost succeeded, with the bomb he planted detonating in a room which contained Hitler, who had unfortunately moved from his normal seat and was not seriously hurt.
Von Stauffenberg was later arrested and executed for his role in the plot.
The film has hit a number of obstacles in the last few months, with certain sites key to the story banned from being used in the film.
