Pink returns to UK No 1 spot with So What

Pink scores first number one UK single for six years with So What
Pink has scored her first number one UK single for six years as a much-hyped battle for top spot with Oasis failed to materialise.

The American singer's latest effort So What rose 35 places to hit number one, with Oasis in third with The Shock of the Lightning.

Second place went to Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon, who also held on to number one in the albums chart with Only By The Night.

The top five tracks in the UK singles chart are: (last week's position)
