Big Brother 9 contestant Dale Howard has become Head of House and picked new housemates to join him in the 'Heaven' section.

The 21-year-old chose Stuart Pilkington, Maysoon Shaladi, Luke Marsden, Rex Newmark and Rebecca Shiner, offering his apologies to those who were to remain in 'Hell'.

However, Dale's choices proved to irritate his fellow contestants on the Channel 4 reality show, with Darnell Swallow complaining the only reason Dal has kept Rex in 'Heaven' was to prove that he could wake Rex up in the mornings.

Darnell also said he felt Dale was bitter about Darnell's stint as Head of House.

"It's all about Dale, dude, it's always been that way," he told Mikey Hughes and Mohamed Mohamed.

"I feel like I'm falling out with him now because I can't look at him the same way after the way he reacted the week I was Head of House".

"We got the Somalia guy, we got the blind Scottish guy, we got the Albino American, we got the Superwoman 40-year-old Lisa, we got Mrs Nice Teacher Rachel and we got the Thai, cookie monster," Darnell added.

"We are all unique".

The unhappy trio agreed that there was no individuality among the contestants on the 'Heaven' side.

Mohamed added that housemates in the 'Hell' section are the "uncool kids" and the 'Heaven' group are the "cool kids".
