Mark Speight's fiancee Natasha Collins died after taking cocaine, inquest concludes
Television presenter Natasha Collins died after taking cocaine and sleeping pills, an inquest into her death has concluded.
Collins, 31, was found covered in hot water burns in the bath of the flat she shared with fiance Mark Speight, also a television presenter.
Westminster coroner Dr Paul Knapman today recorded a verdict of death by misadventure.
Collins had a "very significant" amount of cocaine in her body at the time of her death.
Speight was originally arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying cocaine and was later bailed.
Last month the Metropolitan police announced that it would take no further action against him and dropped charges.
Speight recently quit the CBBC show SMart citing the "tragic loss" of Ms Collins.
The 42-year-old presenter and Ms Collins, 31, met while filming the CBBC show See It Saw It.
