Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has tied the knot with musician Kid Rock.

The busty 39-year-old married the Michigan-born singer on a yacht off the French Riviera port of St Tropez yesterday, sealing the deal on a romance which since its inception has been anything but calm.

Anderson and Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, have been romantically linked for around five years, although an initial engagement ended in 2003.

Just two weeks ago that all changed, however, when Anderson confirmed on her website that the two, who had been seen canoodling on the French Riviera for months, were ready to begin life anew together.

"I'm happy... I see the light. Sounds dramatic, but it's true," she wrote as she revealed her engagement.

Anderson has two children by previous marriages while 35-year-old Kid Rock, whose 2001 album Cocky sold five million copies in the US, has one.

Let's hope Pammy and Kid don't find their new marital bliss sailing into stormy weather in the near future.
