Despite the onset of middle age creeping ever closer, Liz Hurley and Elle Macpherson have taught their younger counterparts a thing or two about style.
Liz, who is arguably better known for her red carpet style than for her acting ability, won the title of style icon at Grazia magazine's inaugural awards to celebrate the achievements of women.
Supermodel and underwear designer Elle Macpherson took home the night's top honour of the lifetime achievement award.
The 43-year-old, who is also known as The Body, gushed that she was "completely honoured" to be handed the award.
"I am so grateful for the opportunity to be present to collect it and congratulate the winners," she said.
Jewellery designer Jade Jagger, 34, took home the fashion award.
Grazia editor Jane Bruton praised the night's winners, saying that they all exuded "flair, passion and vision".
Presenters at the awards included It-girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Kelly Osbourne. Kelly will be following in Liz's footsteps as the presenter of the fashion reality TV show Project Catwalk.
