Kacey speaks out about EastEnders departure

Kacey Ainsworth has spoken out about the real reasons behind her departure from soap EastEnders.

Ainsworth, who has been playing Little Mo for six years, said she first realised there was a life outside Walford while she was on maternity leave.

She told the Mirror: "If it wasn't for that I wouldn’t have thought about it because I love playing Little Mo so much.

"I would have left earlier, I felt ready to go, but they wanted me to play out a leaving storyline."

Ainsworth revealed that she has two TV projects in the pipeline, where her characters are "a long way from Little Mo".

The actress also spoke of how she would like to have another child with fiancée Darren Hales and how she would like to donate a kidney to her mother, who currently requires dialysis four times a week.
