Trouble looms for Sharon Osbourne
Sharon Osbourne's place on the X Factor judging panel is in peril after she voiced contempt for Dannii Minogue earlier this week.
Talent show supremo Simon Cowell is reportedly considering axing her after comments made during an appearance on BBC2's The Graham Norton Show on Thursday.
Minogue is only on the show for her "looks", Osbourne said, in remarks which Cowell has been less-than-welcoming about.
"Simon thought what Sharon did on the show was disgusting," an insider told the Mirror newspaper.
"He only offered her a new contract last week and then she goes and does this."
Minogue joined the three familiar X Factor faces for this year's series of the show as fellow newbie, American choreographer Brian Friedman, was found wanting during the first-round stages.
In the X Factor off-season earlier this year it was judge Louis Walsh's fate which was the main topic of discussion. He was brought back as a Friedman substitute while Minogue appeared unscathed.
Now it seems Osbourne is the judge in the hot seat, but such tensions will be put aside until after tonight's X Factor final.
"I will sit down with Sharon after the final and discuss things then," Cowell told the Mirror.
"We have got three acts who have the biggest night of their lives ahead of them, that is all I am worried about right now."
