Ant and Dec land £1m gameshow
The rise and rise of TV hosts Ant and Dec looks set to continue after the pair landed a new £1 million prize money gameshow.

Already hosts of such hits as I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, the Geordie pair will front The Con Test which will be, according to ITV, a quiz with a difference.

Contestants taking part on the show will win by bluffing their way past their opponents and to the jackpot.

The seven-show series will contain six heats, each with a £50,000 prize pot, and then a grand final where heat winners will battle for the £1 million.

Dec explained: "We came up with the idea about two years ago and tried it out on our friends - we played it out in a room upstairs at our local pub.

"It's an exciting game. You don't need great general knowledge, but you need the intelligence to convince the other contestants you know the answers."

His presenting partner Ant added: "I don't play poker but I've always liked the idea of bluffing your opponents. This game is all about cunning and being able to hold your nerve."

The programme will air later this year.track
