Phina is sick of the jungle

Friday, 24 Nov 2006 21:00
Phina has had enough of jungle life
The jungle is proving too much for Phina, who is obviously more used to the footballers' wives' lifestyle than the bush tucker way.

Apparently it's all about boredom – and Phina reckons she knows all about that having been cooped up in the I'm A Celeb… camp for the last 12 days.

Talking in the Bush Telegraph she, not for the first time it has to be said, poured out her heart and expressed her wish to go home.

She asked viewers to vote her off – but does she really mean it or is she secretly hoping the British public are cruel enough to keep her in?

"I just want to go," she wailed.

"I'm sick of this place. I'm a celebrity…get me out of here! I don't want to be voted for, I've said this before. It's boredom and the rules keep shifting and I think I've proved to myself what I wanted to prove to myself so I think I would be quite delighted to be the first lady home.

"I don't want to starve and fight and be depressed. I doubt that I'll win and I don't really care if I do or don't. I don't want to be a weight on other people because I don't feel good all the time."

And it appears her wish to get back to good old Blighty might be contagious, as Jan also expressed a wish to go home.

Not that Myleene believes a word of it, mind.

"People say things in the heat of the moment but I don't think there's really any one person that wants to go really," the pop minstrel-turned-classical-musician said.

"Everyone wants to see this challenge through."
