Missing TV presenter Mark Speight's father urges him not to "give up"
A coroner's court has heard that a suicide note was found on the body of TV presenter Mark Speight.
The CBBC host was found hanged at a building next to London's Paddington station on Monday.
Westminster Coroner's Court heard that another note had also been discovered at Mr Speight's flat in St John's Wood, north London.
Network Rail staff discovered his body on Monday in a "remote area
out of public view" in Macmillan House, a building next to Paddington's platform one.
A statement from British Transport police (BTP) said the body had been located at around 10:00 BST.
Mr Speight was last seen boarding a London Underground train on the Bakerloo line at Queen's Park station in the north-west of the capital. The Bakerloo line is one of several that serve Paddington station - one of the busiest in the city.
A full inquest into his death will open in May, though the coroner said today there were no suspicious circumstances in the 42-year-old's death.
On April 7th - the day he disappeared - the former SMart presenter was supposed to have been meeting the mother of his former fiancee Natasha Collins, who died at the couple's flat in January.
Mr Speight was said to have been in a fragile state following Ms Collins' death, which a post mortem revealed was caused by an overdose of cocaine, sleeping pills and alcohol.
She was discovered in a bath tub suffering from burns on 60 per cent of her body.
