Sophie admits kissing Chris Brosnan was a mistake
Sophie Anderton has admitted that she wishes she hadn't gone on ITV's reality show Love Island.
During her time on the island, the 29-year-old model made an embarrassing play for numerous guys and was very often seen crying to anyone who would listen about her problems and desire to find a man.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, now's she back in the UK Sophie is starting to feel like the warts-and-all view of her that people saw may have been just a little bit too much.
Speaking on Friday Night with Jonathon Ross, to be shown on BBC 1 tonight, she said: "I think it backfired; it wasn't what I expected - it was difficult. I just thought it would keep me out of trouble for the summer - I didn't expect them to throw so many mind games into it.
"I wear my heart on my sleeve and I think it came across. I didn't expect to be so emotional, but I asked for it really - I'm a glutton for punishment."
Although Love Island viewers may have been hoping to see some of the celebrities getting together, Sophie admitted that it was written into their contracts that they weren't allowed to have sex.
When asked if she had been tempted to with Chris Brosnan, she said: "I snogged his face off but it didn't go any further, definitely not."
Despite the embarrassing hissy fits, hysterical tears and declarations of love from her on the show, Sophie simply said: "I just wish I hadn't snogged on TV."
