Sophie 'knows how the other side live'
Brendan and Sophie have been given a short, sharp, shock of reality on Love Island as the producers forced them to carry out menial tasks.
Model Sophie Anderton, who confessed that she had never peeled a potato in her life, was forced to spend the day with Brendan in a makeshift workhouse peeling dozens of prawns and spuds.
Responding in true diva style, Sophie moaned: "I haven't signed up for this sh*t it's absolutely disgusting…we win something and we get treated like this?"
But after completing the task, Sophie has admitted that not only does she now know how to peel a potato, she also knows how the other side live.
"You have made me realise how blessed I am with my lifestyle. This is probably how a normal Fijian woman lives. It puts things into perspective and it's made me much stronger; it has humbled me; it has brought me to my knees," Sophie said without a hint of irony.
Making herself sound even more ridiculous, she added that she had only been able to get through the 'gruelling' task due to her strength of character, saying: "I am a survivor, I'm not a quitter. I don't think the others could have done it with strength. Kelle might have. Bianca would have done it, but she would have stropped through it."
This coming from the woman who moaned all day about her hunger, exhaustion and stomach cramps. Fighting talk, Sophie.
