London's West End is to see the return of Old Blue Eyes despite the fact that Frank Sinatra has been dead for over seven years.
Sinatra will open at the London Palladium in February 2006 and will use bleeding-edge technology to bring the singer back to life on stage, along with live singers and dancers.
Remastered footage of Sinatra, given to producers by his friends and family, is to be projected onto screens around the theatre and live actors will perform in front of them.
The £5 million show will include performances of 22 of the Rat Pack man's hit songs such as New York, New York and Come Fly With Me.
The show's producer, James Sanna, told the Evening Standard: "We have used the latest in film and stage technologies to make those images really come to life.
"If you blink your eyes you will feel you are watching Sinatra actually performing. That is what we are setting out to achieve."
What? You mean keep your eyes shut? Easy.
Sinatra first performed live at the London Palladium in 1950 and returned to play there in 1975.
