The ever-honest Chris Martin has admitted that he did not lose his virginity until he was 22 because he was so ignorant about sex.
The Coldplay singer said he was a complete innocent when it came to matters of the female form, and lamented the lack of guidance he was given in his formative years.
The multi-million selling songwriter, who is married to Hollywood babe Gwyneth Paltrow, admitted: "To be perfectly honest. I didn't know what I was doing. I wish somebody would have come to me when I was 14 and explained how to give an orgasm."
Still, it seems he's got a fair idea of how the bits work now (hopefully), as he's already sired one child, Apple, with the Shakespeare in Love star.
The shoe-gazing singer also told Rolling Stone that he was bullied at school.
He claims to have lived a sheltered life up until the age of 13, when he started attending private school Sherborne, where he claims he came in for a lot of stick.
The man behind Clocks and The Scientist said: "My eye-opening years were between 13 and 17. I was so cushioned until that. But at Sherborne, it was the first time I'd ever experienced somebody disliking me."
However, looking back now, he is not bitter about his treatment. In fact, he almost condones it.
"Well, I used to walk funny, and, to be quite honest, I was a bit of a kn*bhead - I wouldn't have liked me either."
