Cheltenham Festival stats and tips should mean more winnings and winners

The Cheltenham Festival 2011 gets underway next week and one of the most popular methods of picking Cheltenham Festival winners is not only to follow tips, but also to take notice of important Cheltenham Festival Stats.
Many of the Cheltenham races have key stats that point the way towards possible winners, the field can often be narrowed by what weight the horses are carrying (in handicaps), their age, what races they have run in that season and how many races they have had that season.
The most popular race of the week is often the Cheltenham Gold Cup and there are two important stats that mean there can only be one winner!
There are only four horses with single figure odds this year, the last ten winners have all been in the first three in the betting so you would expect the winner to at least come from these four. However three of those four are aged ten or over and only one winner (Cool Dawn in 1998) has been aged ten since 1993. That leaves just Long Run who is currently rated 6/1!
There will be 27 races and winners at the Cheltenham Festival, click the following highlighted link for more Cheltenham Stats and Cheltenham Tips.
